Is there any Indicator in Quran to Follow Hadeeth?

Salam, before proceed to the answer, there are few question to be asked.

1) How to perform solah without guide from Hadeeth (That’s why some anti-hadeeth people did not solah.)

2) Quran asked us to pay zakat, but how much?

3) Can we perform solah naked?

So, not everything is in the quran. For Allah sent down his prophet to explain about the Quran. Quran is a manual from Allah to prophet. So, only the real owner knows what messege is really being proclaimed inside it.

That’s why Allah gives prophet al Hikmah or wisdom to explain the Quran to His people. This Hikmah is including the Hadeeth.

A similar (favour have ye already received) in that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and sanctifying you, and instructing you in Scripture and Wisdom, and in new knowledge.[2:151]

Hadeeth is a collection of what prophet said, proclaim, explain or action which is recorded by the Companion of prophet. All of this is based on the Quran.

We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom.[14:4]

Before certain thing is accepted as an authentic hadeeth, a series of knowledge need to be learnt in order to choose which hadeeth is really from Rasulullah and which is not. This is because, many people use to lie in the name of prophet for their own benefit.

However, our prejudice that all the hadeeth is just an invention can not be an excuse for us not to follow the Hadeeth. We must! We follow the Hadeeth because the root come from the prophet and what comes from prophet is from Allah. By following it, we obtain mercy from Allah

And obey Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain mercy. [3:132]

And Allah surely dislikes Muslim who disobeys Him and his messenger. So decision is in our hands. What else is your excuse for not following the Hadeeth?

Say: "Obey Allah and His Messenger": But if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject Faith.[3:32]

Let us not be a loser who regret at the end of the day. Losers are so ego for not following the truth reveals by the prophet. And Allah already warns this people.

The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!"[3:66]

So, as a conclusion; obey Allah and his messenger. All verse quoted above clearly give meanings for us to follow the Hadeeth which is a collection of prophet says, action, and instruction. One more verse for our consideration is here

It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;- [62:2]

T-Q

p/s: Any comment, correction, addition or better answer regarding this topic please contact me as I’m preparing a complete scheme to encounter anti-hadeeth group now.

Hijab for Women in the Quran.

This question is from ex-Missionary who reverted to Islam.

And if we want to use it only during prayers, and reading of the Holy Qur'an, does it make us sinners if we choose not to use a hijab at other times? Cause I use the scarf to honour God and humble myself when I come in prayer. I am not at ease using the Hijab at normal times. I want to know what the Qur'an says about the hijab. Please advise me. I don't quite relate to hadiths cause I prefer to use the main scripture - The Holy Qur'an to confirm God's words on it.

Answer:

First of all, I congratulate you for being able to cover the aurat during prayer and reading Holy Quran. Your condition is quite different since you newly reverted to Islam. It means that you have to wear the hijab slowly. Do not force yourself too much and stress yourself to wear the Hijab. Do the best as you can. In this condition, you are giving Rukhsah (to make thing easy) but when you have strong faith then it’s compulsary to wear Hijab.

Okay, let us see what the definition of the Aurat is first before we go to the scope whether we need to cover it with Hijaab or not. Aurat can be define as

1) Something causing shame when exposed
2) Something that is not worth to be exposed
3) Parts of body which is compulsary to be covered.

Aurat is further divided into three which is the body which need to be covered, voice and time where children should ask permission before entering their parent’s room. But, by regards of your question, I only answer the aurat of body that should be covered. And the question whether there is a specific verse regarding it then the answer is yes. The first one is based on Q24:31

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and protect their private parts and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna….[ Q24:31]

During that time, women already wearing scarf because of continuation from the religion of Hanif, Judaism and Christianity. However, this verse is to correct the way of covering the Hijab because in Judaism, they just put the scarf over their head to cover the hair but not the other part. So Allah commands the women to draw their veils over the Juyubihinna.The interpretetion of Juyubihinna is different among the scholar base on the level of their faith. However, all of them agree that Juyubihinna is every part of women body except Palm of hand and face. But the wife of prophet, Ayesha considers the face as Juyubihinna as well. That’s why she tears a piece of cloth and covers her face except the eyes when hear prophet recite this verse.

The second verse is based on Q33:59

O prophet! Tell your wives and your daughter and the women of the believers to draw their cloack all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known so as not to be annoyed.

There is exception for a women to not to cover their aurat.

And as for women past child-bearing who do not expect wed-lock, it is no sin on them if they discard their outer clothing in such a way as not to show their adornment. But to refrain is better for them (Q24:60)

But, nowadays, even an old lady can get raped. So, this condition has enforced the women even in their menapousal age to cover their body in order to protect them.

So the purpose of wearing Hijab is to protect dignity of the women. The sense of covering the aurat is something naturally occurs in Human. The best example is when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, thei clothes was taken off. So they straightly cover their body with the leaves from Heaven.

So, the conclusion is that it is compulsary to wear Hijab and sinful for not to wear it. But remember, there is no sin that Allah can not forgive except the sins of associating him with his creatures. But, even though God will forgive your sins, it doest mean that this is a license for you not to cover the aurat. Following God commands will determine how faithful you are. And, lastly. Just give your best shot okay. The most important for you now is to strenghten your faith. I’m sure that once you truly believe in Islam than you will automatically cover yourself with Hijab. InshaALLAH.

Of Jesus Being the “Word of Allah”, “Sign of Allah” and “Spirit of Allah”

Of Jesus Being the “Word of Allah”, “Sign of Allah” and “Spirit of Allah”
By: Brother Muhamad Na’im, FCR Alumni

Christian Claims that Jesus is:

“Jesus, Son of Mary was a Messenger of Allah and His Word” which He bestowed on Mary and a spirit created by Him (Q4:171)

“That is easy for Me (Allah): And to appoint him as a sign to Mankind and a Mercy from Us” (Q19:21)

Explainantion:

Word of Allah or “Kalimattullah” means the help that Allah gives to His prophet (Q7:158), His unlimited power over knowledge (Q18:109, Q31:27), His words as command in Holy Scriptures (Q7:158) and Quran (Q42:24) and His power to create thing over the normal process or to create His Messenger like the creation of Jesus (Q4:171) and Adam (Q2:37)

Signs mean anything that indicates the presence, existence or divinity of Allah. Among his signs including the scientific miracles like the creation of universe which explain the Big Bang Theory, the embryology and also the creation of Jesus like Q19:21.

Meanwhile, spirit is somethings created by Allah which we were given a very limited knowledge regarding it (Q 17:85). What is known to us that spirit underlying his creation. Angel compose of Spirit (Q19:17) and he breath spirit into man (Q32:9). We human, does not know how Allah gives spirit to His creation. For example in man, after the natural embryo development complete, Then Allah will breathe his spirit. But, exception occur in the creation of Adam (Q38:72) and Jesus (4:171) whereby Adam is created from dust and Jesus was conceived with no paternal genes.

By the definition itself, those three words not just specifically refer to Jesus. For the fact is, Allah already give full explaination regarding the creation of Jesus Christ based on the Q4:171 itself. The confusion arises when they quote it mistakenly instead of quoting the whole verse correctly. The verse clearly defined that Jesus is spirit from Allah but not Spirit of Allah. The verse Q4:171 is actually a critic from Allah for Christian that deviates from the fact that Jesus is His Messenger. The context of the verse is as follow

O People of the Scripture! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allah aught but the truth. The Messiah, son of Mary was a Messenger of Allah and His Word, which he bestowed on Mary and a spirit, created by Him; so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not: “Three!” Cease! Better for you. For Allah is One Ilah, glorified is He above having a son. To Him belong all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is All-sufficient as a disposer of Affair. (Q4:171)

  1. Allah commands the Christian not to exceed the limit in their religion which means cannot hide the deviation in their religion, adding something new into religion and not to hide the truth.
  2. They can not put false accusation on Allah and never worship anything except Allah.
  3. Allah reminds the Christian that Jesus is a word from Him. Whenever he wants thing to be done, he just say Kun (be) and it will be as instructed by Him. That does not means that He becomes man.
  4. The real interpretation of the verse regarding the Spirit of Allah is that the spirit who is conceived by Mary is giving by Him not that the Spirit of Him entering the wombs of Mary.
  5. Christians are commanded to worship Allah alone and follow his Messenger. They should stop proclaiming the concept of Trinity which is absolutely wrong.
  6. They are strictly forbidden to mention that Allah has offspring.
  7. They are forbidden to take any other protector than Him including Jesus Christ.

Christian use this verse to create confusion among the Muslim just to support their believe base on the verse John 1:1

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

The title of prophet does not means that it is exclusively belong to that prophet only. For examples, Abraham is reffered as Khaleelullah (friends of Allah) but it does not means that other prophets are not the friends of Allah. Mosses is reffered as Kaleemullah (God spoke to Him) But, this does not means that God did not speaks to other prophets. The same thing applied here. “Kalimatullah” means the word from Allah or exactly referred as “messenger of Allah”. Hence, Jesus is not the only messenger of Allah.

Other prophet reffering as word of Allah is John the Baptist. After Zechariah did not have offspring although he is old, He prays hardly to Allah. Then Allah bless him with John the Baptist which Allah refer his birth as miricle as Jesus Birth. (Kun Fa Ya Kun) When Allah wants something, he just says “Be!” and it will Be. (From Q3:38-39)

When did Allah use We and I (lay man term answer)

Re: (fcr alumni) What is the difference?? extra question...

I will answer this Question base on your answer and the verses that you post.. Easy explanation. One thing that you miss is that the plural of”We" can also use to symbolize the plurality of power. Take a look a Queen Elizabeth. What is her position to be identified her as We? It's because of her position as the England Queen. So As Allah, whenever he speaks of His Authorization.

So in the Holy Quran, whenever Allah speaks personally with prophet Muhammad, He will use 'I". Whenever He explained to Prophet Muhammad about His Power, of He created this and that, he will use "We". Allah also use "I" in the story that is being told by Him to prophet (also means that he personally speak with the prophet) Take a look at the verse and extra question posted by Bro Mas Yuri.

**************

Also can read 7:145-146, 156; 21:25; 29:8; 31:14; 32:13; 68:44 & 70:40

So, the question is:-
When Allah use "We" and when Allah use "I" to describe Himself? Is that any certain or specific condition or situation? Tq

**************

In the above verse, The first "we" is when God explain His power producing 12 leaders. The next "I" refer to Allah talks to them in a friendly manner.

In 7:145-147
"We" is used to refer on how powerful of him to Give Torah to Mosses. (we know that torah contains of His Law to the Israeliat" Then He use "I" when speaking to Mosses. and in verse 7:147 Allah again use the word 'We' to symbolize his power of creating and giving His Signs (ayat) . And again in the Verse 7:156, the same pattern repeated.

In Q25:26
The first “We” symbolize his power of sending the prophet. The second “We” used to explain his Power of giving the prophet His Messege. Then after it, he use the word “I” to show his affection speaking with the prophet.

The explaination for other verse is also the same. You can see the pattern of the verse is the same. So Allah will use

“We”
-To describe his Power of creating something
-To describe His power of sending the prophet.
-To describe His power over his Signs (Ayat)
-To Commands or instrust big issues.

“I”
-when He speaking of affection towards His creatures.
-When He speaks with prophet that shows his Love to the prophet.
-When He speaks personally with Muhammad and other prophet. (i.e mentioning his power, creation or signs)

Why did Allah use We in the Quran (By Bro Edry)

When Allah use "We" and when Allah use "I" to describe Himself? Is that any certain or specific condition or situation?

Syaikh Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid answered:

It is a feature of literary style in Arabic that a person may refer to himself by the pronoun nahnu (we) for respect or glorification. He may also use the word ana (I), indicating one person, or the third person huwa (he). All three styles are used in the Qur’an, where Allaah addresses the Arabs in their own tongue. (Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 4/143).

“Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, sometimes refers to Himself in the singular, by name or by use of a pronoun, and sometimes by use of the plural, as in the phrase (interpretation of the meaning): ‘Verily, We have given you a manifest victory” [al-Fath 48:1], and other similar phrases. But Allaah never refers to Himself by use of the dual, because the plural refers to the respect that He deserves, and may refer to His names and attributes, whereas the dual refers to a specific number (and nothing else), and He is far above that.” (Al-‘Aqeedah al-Tadmuriyyah by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, p. 75).

These words, innaa (“Verily We”) and nahnu (“We”), and other forms of the plural, may be used by one person speaking on behalf of a group, or they may be used by one person for purposes of respect or glorification, as is done by some monarchs when they issue statements or decrees in which they say “We have decided…” etc. [This is known in English as “The Royal We” – Translator]. In such cases, only one person is speaking but the plural is used for respect. The One Who is more deserving of respect than any other is Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, so when He says in the Qur’an innaa (“Verily We”) and nahnu (“We”), it is for respect and glorification, not to indicate plurality of numbers.

If an aayah of this type is causing confusion, it is essential to refer to the clear, unambiguous aayaat for clarification, and if a Christian, for example, insists on taking ayaat such as “Verily, We: it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e., the Qur’an)” [al-Hijr 15:9 – interpretation of the meaning] as proof of divine plurality, we may refute this claim by quoting such clear and unambiguous aayaat as (interpretation of the meanings): “And your god is One God, there is none who has the right to be worshipped but He, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful” [al-Baqarah 2:163] and “Say: He is Allaah, the One” [al-Ikhlaas 112:1] – and other aayaat which can only be interpreted in one way.

Thus confusion will be dispelled for the one who is seeking the truth. Every time Allaah uses the plural to refer to Himself, it is based on the respect and honour that He deserves, and on the great number of His names and attributes, and on the great number of His troops and angels. (Reference: Al-‘Aqeedah al-Tadmuriyyah by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, p. 109). And Allaah knows best.

http://www.islam-qa.com/en/ref/606

Dr. Muzammil H. Siddiqi answered:

In the Qur’an you will see that often the first person singular such as I or My is used, when Allah speaks about His love, care and closeness and forgiveness for His servants. In a similar way the first person plural is often used when Allah speaks about His power, majesty, glory, great deeds or when He speaks about His anger and wrath for the sinners and criminals. (This is, of course, the general use. Sometime the reverse is also the case, depending on the context of the Surah.)

Why God did not forgive the Sin of Satan

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful. This question is asked by one sister in Islam and publishes by Bro Mas Yuri FCR Yahoo group. This is a very good question and obviously this sister is a seeker of truth. So I would like to share it with everybody.

We Muslim always believe that God Is Love and can forgive every sins except the Sins of Shirk (Q4:48) but why Allah did not forgive the sin of Satan for not paying respect to Adam PBUH? In order to understand this situation, we need to go back to the time when Allah created Adam as the first man.

Satan did not respect Adam for only one reason. He thinks that he is more honor compared to Adam as he was created from fire compare to Adam which was created from dust. This is what we call as jealousy and ego.

For example, Just take a look at your friend who has an ego characteristic. They will argue with you so hard even though knowing that they are wrong and their point is useless. So as Satan( instead he is more egoistic compared to man), he knows everything about Allah but yet he did not want to acknowledge Adam. It is not that Allah didn’t give him chance to repent but he refuse to do it. And in fact, he knows that the punishment for the rebellion to God is Hell fire but he still with his decision. To make you understand this, let us review what the Quran said:

Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgement." (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong,- "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." (Q38:71-85)

So from there, it is already clear that Satan knows himself wrong and sins against Allah. It is him who stubborn enough to repent. Meanwhile, Adam and Eve repent themselves after do wrong to Allah and Allah forgive them..

Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. (2:37)

But his Lord chose him (for His Grace): He turned to him, and gave him Guidance. (20:122)

The question also rise again, why did he let people go astray and let the people follow the footstep of Satan? HE indeed give the clear answer and even Satan answer that question. Satan will lead astray people from the true path of Allah by the power of Allah. It is because, Satan himself is powerless. Then Allah said, people will go astray except those who is sincere in finding the truth and have faith in Allah and Islam. Allah keep sending us His messenger to remind us about the way to Him. [To be continued in post: If Allah is The Most Gracious and Merciful, Then why he Create Hell Fire?)

Operate Dada X-Ray HAti

Oleh: Bro Faisal (FCR Alumni)

BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5272254336984231538

"Weh, Michael Jackson dah masuk Islam", Rahmat memberitahu dalam keadaan yang masih sememeh kerana baru bangun tidur.

"Eh tu bukan dah lama ke?" Saya bertanya.

Namun beliau tetap membunuhnya.

"Adakah kamu membunuhnya sesudah dia mengucap La ilaha il Allah?" Nabi SAW bertanya.

[rujuk Sahih Muslim – hadis no: 158]

Kisah Muallaf buat Pengajaran

By: Bro Mas-Yuri Mahyiddin (FCR Alumni)
Let me share (or recap) pengalaman2 mualaf here...

Kisah 1

So kawan2 dia beritahu parents mualaf tadi. Then lost contact! Kenapa jadi begini? Sebabnya ialah kawan2 Muslim dia tak ada skill how to handle mualaf.

Pengajaran: Rahsiakan keislaman seseorang mualaf jika keadaan memerlukannya.

Kisah 2

Seorang student lelaki Cina masuk Islam. Dia dihandle oleh seorang ustaz. Dia ni ada penyakit. Tiap bulan kena rawat. Ayah dia yang tanggung rawatan tersebut. Apabila dia masuk Islam, ustaz tu beritahu bahawa dia perlu (atau terpaksa) tinggalkan familynya. Mualaf ini percaya la bulat2. Kemudian dia ikut la nasihat (atau arahan?) tadi. Sudah semestinya rahsia dia peluk Islam diketahui ayah dia selepas dia keluar dari rumah.

Then what happen?

Rawatan bulanan dihentikan.. ..

Then what's next?

Ustaz tu tinggalkan dia macam tu saja disebabkan tak mampu nak tolong dai segi kewangan!

Kisah 3

Seorang perempuan Cina berumur 15 tahun memeluk Islam. Since this sis is one of us inside this YG, then maybe this sis boleh ceritakan kisah yang selebihnya untuk diambil pengajaran oleh FCR Alumni member.

Kisah 4

Pengajaran: Kekalkan nama asal sendiri & nama asal bapa.

Pengajaran: Jangan lemahkan semangat mualaf. Sebaliknya banyakkan kata2 yang boleh memotivasikan mereka. Sebutkan ayat2 seperti 39:53-54, 25:70 & 4:40.

P/s: Bukan semua ustazah yang begitu sifatnya.

Kes 6

Kemudian kita explain tentang akidah selepas majlis akad nikah. So, this is our duty in future.

Kes 7

Pengajaran: Jom beramai2 jadi volunteer untuk membantu our new reverts!

Experiencing the love of Allah

In Islam, nothing is more important than Allah and He is everything for Muslim. He is the eternal Creator, Savior, the only one God with no family or son and the One who deserves to be worshipped.

And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness,[85:14]

Allah is full of love and his Gracious extends to all mankind. The most important thing is, He gives us faculty of intellect to guide us towards His way of salvation and to differentiate which is right or wrong. Since the developing of faculty of intellect progress as one grows and gain knowledge, many will wonder.What about the baby which is their thinking is not develop yet? Well, no worry about them since they are born in the state of fitrah (pure, clean, sinless, Islam) no matter in what family they are born to. So, if the baby dies, he will straight away go to heaven.

It is also mention in the Hadith that Allah is tenderer towards His creatures than a mother towards his infant. Hurm... Interesting huh! However, Allah love does not means that you will never get punishment if you sins against him. This is because, his love is just. But, he however is oft-forgiving and can forgive all sins except Shirk (which means you associate God with others or says that God has family).

In Islam, it is very easy to gain rewards with the grace of Allah. If something cross in your mind about doing good but you didn’t perform it, then you will be giving one reward. But if you perform it, then you get double. Even throwing rubbish into dustbin will gain you a reward from Allah. Wow! I can have a lot of rewards then.

So, let us experience the Love of Allah and may we will be rewarded by him the most pleasurable heaven. Ameen!

Suka Duka Saudara Baru Untuk Diiktiraf Sebagai Muslim

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Cikgu Nur Aliya Yeoh binti Abdullah.

Insya Allah.

Mari lah kita membaca luahan hati Cikgu Nur Aliya yang terkini yang saya petik dengan izinnya dari blog beliau di Musings of a Mualaf yang beralamat http://pukullima.blogspot.com.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Artikel ini muncul dalam pos bulan Disember 2007. Saya pos sekali lagi bagi pengetahuan pembaca yang baru mengenali blog ini agar dapat membantu mereka yang berhasrat memeluk Islam. Bacalah dan bayangkanlah kalau anda mualaf yang baru memeluk Islam :)
Tape apakah yang saya maksudkan?
Bukan tape pelekat tetapi (red tape)@ kerenah birokrasi yang saling berkait, berlingkaran, dan mengambil masa lama untuk diurus.
Tape pertama: Mendaftar di Jabatan Agama Islam PP
Saya pergi ke sana dengan dua orang ustazah yang menjadi saksi pengislaman saya tempoh hari. Mereka juga ingin tahu prosedur yang perlu dilalui oleh seseorang yang hendak memeluk Islam. Ya la, bukan semua orang tahu tentang perkara ini. Kebetulan kami tiba agak lewat, maka proses yang dijalani kurang rumit.
Pertama, mendengar penerangan ringkas tentang konsep Islam.
Saya angguk faham, mudah apabila dua orang ustazah memberitahu pegawai bertugas bahawa mereka telah memberi penerangan lengkap kepada saya lebih awal lagi.
Kedua, mengisi Borang Maklumat Diri.
Sekali lagi dinasihati agar kekalkan nama keluarga.
Ketiga, diberi Surat Perakuan Masuk Islam Sementara yang mempunyai tarikh luput satu bulan. Surat sebesar ketas A4 ini penting, satu-satunya dokumen yang membuktikan keIslaman seseorang.
Keempat, diminta hadir kursus Fardu Ain untuk sebulan. Alamak, susah sebab saya tak ada pelepasan daripada pihak universiti, maklum saja semester baru bermula.
Alhamdulillah ustazah-ustazah saya menawarkan diri untuk mengajar. Kelonggaran diberi dengan syarat kembali ke situ untuk ditemuduga dalam tempoh sebulan.
Saya pulang dengan satu beg barang saguhati peralatan ibadah untuk saudara baru iaitu sejadah, pakaian sembahyang, terjemahan al-quran, buku asas fardu ain, serta buku asas mengerjakan sembahyang. Terima kasih.
Tape kedua: Kena lulus temuduga untuk dapat Sijil Masuk Islam
Haiyah!! Kena belajar ekspres pula sebelum diakui orang Islam oleh Jabatan Agama Islam. Dalam tempoh genap 30 hari pula tu. Banyak pula yang kena tahu.
Rasa-rasanya bukan semua orang Islam yang lahir dalam keluarga Islam yang boleh lulus temuduga kalau disoal semua perkara berikut.
Tak bolehkah beri tempoh lebih lama atau kurangkan topik yang perlu diketahui? Tensyen jadinya, tambahan saya juga merupakan mahasiswi yang belajar sepenuh masa.
Saya petik daripada Enakmen Pentadbiran Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri PPinang:
Kaedah Jagaan Dan Pengajaran Orang Masuk Islam Dan Cara Pendaftarannya.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang telah menghadiri mana-mana kelas Fardhu Ain di bawah perenggan 5 (1)
(b) hendaklah ditemuduga bagi memastikan tahap kefahaman Islam orang tersebut dan soalan-soalan yang perlu dikemukakan ialah –
(a) pengertian Iman dan Islam menurut bahasa dan istilah syarak;
(b) huraian rukum Iman dan Islam;
(c) pengertian bersuci dalam Islam seperti Istinjak, jenis-jenis air dan jenis najis/cara- cara mandi wajib@ mandi hadas besar;
(d) pengertian wudhu’ dan rukun-rukunnya;
(e) cara-cara melaksanakan sembahyang 5 waktu dan sembahyang Jumaat;
(f) Bacaan-bacaan wajib dalam sembahyang (Tabiratul Ihram, Surah Al-Fatihah, Tahiyat/Tasyahud dan Taslim/Salam)
(g) Pengertian hukum dan pembahagiannya.
Tape ketiga: Dapatkan Sijil Masuk Islam
Alhamdulillah saya lulus. Disuruh oleh Ustaz Malik untuk membaca Tahiyat akhir daripada ingatan. Saya katakan saya belum hafal sepenuhnya kerana sukar nak ingat kesemuanya dalam tempoh sebulan. Saya berdialog panjang dengan Ustaz Malik dan meminta dia menyoal bahagian lain yang saya tahu (amoi ini memang tak takut sesiapa kecuali Allah). Akhirnya dia mengalah dan mengistiharkan saya lulus :P.
Malangnya pegawai yang sepatutnya menandangani Sijil Masuk Islam bercuti dan tiada pegawai yang diamanahkan menggantikan tugasnya. Terpaksalah saya jadi orang Islam tak berdokumen pengenalan Islam selama dua minggu . Itu pun syukur kerana saya sudah bertudung.
Andai kata ditakdirkan maut dalam keadaan tiada dokumen dan mayat diambil oleh keluarga saya yang bukan Islam, jadi pula kes rebut mayat. (huhuhuuu).
Selepas menelefon Ustaz Malik berkali-kali dan merayu meminta dokumen berkenaan, akhirnya saya terpaksa meminta bantuan Pusat Islam untuk campur tangan.
Sijil yang ditunggu-tunggu sampai ke tangan saya dua minggu lewat. Terpaksa dihantar sendiri oleh Ustaz Malik kepada Ketua Imam Masjid al-Malik, USM. Agaknya sehingga hari ini Ustaz Malik masih ingat Aliya ini, hehehe.
Tape keempat: Surat Akuan Sumpah
Terpaksa pula mencari Pesuruhjaya Sumpah untuk mengangkat sumpah bahawa saya telah memeluk agama Islam, dan bahawa saya telah menggugurkan penggunaan nama lama untuk dikenali dengan nama Islam saya dalam segala perkara. Wajib ada surat akuan ini barulah permohonan untuk kad pengenalan baru boleh diproses. Khidmat ini tidak disediakan di Pejabat Agama Islam. Oleh sebab kesibukan studi dan kesuntukan masa untuk mendapatkan Pesuruhjaya Sumpah, akhirnya Sijil Masuk Islam dari negeri lain, Surat Akuan dari negeri lain. Bila ingat balik, terasa lucu juga.
Semoga Allah berkati pasangan Melayu yang tidak dikenali yang begitu baik hati membayar bagi pihak saya untuk Surat Akuan Sumpah tersebut. Kata mereka, sebagai menyambut saya sebagai saudara seagama mereka.
Tape kelima: Borang Permohonan Pindaan Butiran Dalam Kad Pengenalan
Sudah tentu saya mahu membuat kad pengenalan yang mempunyai nama baru saya dan perkataan Islam tertera di bawah gambar foto. Lagipun tak elok gambar lama yang tidak menutup aurat dilihat setiap kali saya mengeluarkan MyKad. Saya sudah mulai letih menerangkan mengapa saya memeluk Islam setiap kali orang membaca nama lama saya dan melihat saya memakai tudung. Masyarakat kita masih belum bersedia menerima wanita bernama Cina yang memakai tudung, melainkan dia rakyat negara China.Borang ini terhad di Jabatan Agama Islam. Saya minta juga kerana hendak menjimat masa dan tenaga pergi ke Pejabat Pendaftaran Negara, dan diberi borang terakhir dalam simpanan mereka. Borang ini perlu dilengkapkan dan dihantar kepada Bahagian Pendaftaran Negara di Putrajaya. Kalau pergi ke Pejabat Pendaftaran Negara yang terdekat pun, borang yang sama tetap perlu diisi.
Dokumen-dokumen lain perlu dikepilkan sekali, iaitu:
- Surat Akuan Berkanun Asal
- Salinan Sijil kelahiran
- Sijil Memeluk Agama Islam
- Wang Pos RM10
Saya diberitahu oleh seorang saudara baru ketika menerima wang sumbangan zakat bahwa MyKad barunya mengambil masa selama 6 bulan untuk siap. Saya tak mahu tunggu begitu lama, jadi pada waktu cuti, saya turun sendiri ke Putrajaya. Alhamdulillah walaupun buat kali pertama sampai ke sana, dengan bantuan kawan saya Ija, saya berjaya menghantar sendiri borang ini dengan dokumen yang diperlukan kepada pegawai bertugas. Permohonan saya diluluskan dalam tempoh sebulan tetapi surat tiba dua bulan kemudian. Tak kisah lah, dua bulan lebih baik daripada enam bulan.
Tape keenam : Menunggu MyKad baru
Kena tunggu dua bulan lagi untuk siap. Sabar sajalah dan senyum simpul setiap kali apek teksi tanya, “eh, lu Cina atau Melayu ahh?” bila nampak pas masuk ke dalam kampus saya yang masih bernamakan nama lama. Nak senang, saya jawab, “Apek, bapa saya Cina.”
“Oh, jadi lu masuk Melayu kah?” Nak selamat, senyum tak perlu jawab…
Alhamdulillah sekarang MyKad baru dah dapat, pas universiti dengan nama Islam pun dah dibuat dan digunakan sehingga saya tamat pengajian universiti. Lega sungguh kerana urusan seharian yang memerlukan pengenalan diri seperti urusan bank, paspot, dan sebagainya pasti lebih mudah dilakukan menggunakan MyKad baru. Tak banyak soal lagi.
(Saya tersilap rupanya. Tengoklah apa yang perlu diharungi semasa memohon paspot. Urusan bank banyak yang masih menggunakan nama asal. Tunggulah, kalau susah sangat, saya cari saja bank yang memudahkan saya. Setakat ini alhamdulillah Bank Muamalat dan BSN memberi kerjasama yang baik).
Selepas melalui semua tape ini, barulah saya sedar mengapa masih terdapat saudara baru yang masih belum mengutip Sijil Masuk Islam mereka dari Pejabat Agama Islam. Mengapa ada orang yang telah memeluk Islam yang dikatakan murtad, dan ada yang masih belum diketahui pengislamannya oleh ahli keluarga kerana pertukaran dokumen pengenalan diri merupakan pilihan individu itu sendiri. Juga mengapa masih ramai yang tidak menukar kad pengenalan untuk menyatakan secara bertulis bahawa mereka sudah beragama Islam, kerana tak tahu prosedur dan tak dibantu oleh orang yang bertanggungjawab. Sebenarnya kalau tak umumkan pertukaran agama, tiada siapa yang tahu atau ambil kisah, sehingga orang berkenaan meninggal dunia di hospital. Barulah heboh satu negara apabila berlakunya perebutan mayat antara ahli keluarga dan pihak Jabatan Agama yang tidak melakukan lawatan ke rumah saudara baru setelah Sijil Masuk Islam dikeluarkan.
Mengistiharkan diri sebagai orang Islam di Malaysia adalah satu proses yang rumit, panjang dan lama.
SEMUANYA KENA URUSKAN SENDIRI.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Insya Allah.

Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah.

Jemputan ke Program Kelas Peradaban Nabawi : Train the Trainer Phase I

Pengenalan :

5 Common Questions by Christian

This question were proposed by one Brother In Friendly Comparative Religion Yahoo Group. With my limited knowledge and experience , i just give brief explaination. T-Q. Bro Jacknaim.

-------------------------------------------------

1) Why in Islam women cover head (Hijab/tudung) and sometime the same people do not cover?

In Islam, it is compulsary for women to wear Hijab (24:31) except for the woman who was menopause and not in the need to sexual Desiree (24:60). However due to the ignorance, some did not wear it.

2) Why in Islam women cannot pray in Jumaat Prayer?

This is misconception in Islam as women are allowed to join in Jumaat prayer. It is just that will be counted as Sunat and she has to perform The Zuhur prayer.

3) Why women in haid can not read the Quran

This is again a misconception. Yes, human need guidance all the time even the woman who is in haid. Certain scholar said that women in menses can not touch Quran based on Q 56:77-79 because only pure person can touch it. They supported this verse by saying that woman in menses is dirty by pointing up Q 2:222. However the verse 56:77-79 referring to Lauh Mahfuz in Heaven and only angel can touch it as it is holly. No evil or Satan can touch it. Regarding the verse 2.222, it is about Allah did not allowed sexual intercourse during menses. Others are allowed as supported with Shahih Muslim Chapter 2:3:592. Others hadeeth also said that wives of prophet who were in menses can enter the mosque , entertain our prophet and so on. Even Aisha herself laid her head on our prophet Muhammad when prophet was reciting the Quran. So, I see nothing is wrong with reciting Al Quran. However , if you still in doubt to recite the Quran, i suggest that you just read the translation of it or listening to the recitation

4) Why in Islam comunicate with God only time not every time like cristian can communicate with God when they are need. Why has special time?

Communication in God can be done everytime. The misconception arises when non Muslim thought that Muslim is limited to 5 times prayer in order to communicate with God. So it is our responsibility to explain about the differences of Solah and pray. Compulsory solah is done 5 times daily. Non compulsory can be done as many as Muslim wants and prayer can be done anytime and anywhere.
